Who is welcome at BUNKER?
BUNKER is an inclusive and safe space for the LGBTQ+ community that welcomes everyone age 21 and over. Intolerance, harassment, or discrimination of any kind will never be allowed, by management, staff, or patrons.
Can I host my party at BUNKER?
BUNKER can host private events, or events during normal business business hours. We also have the ability to make private VIP cage reservations. Please email us at contact@bunkerdc.com with your event details so we can start planning your event!
Does BUNKER have a cover?
BUNKER has no cover before 11PM on Friday, and 10PM on Saturday. After the first hour, there is a cash only cover that varies in price. Thursdays and Sundays have no cover, unless there’s a special event. Special events and cover prices are published on our website and social media. An ATM is available at the bottom of the entry steps. Re-entry is not permitted.
Does BUNKER have drink specials?
BUNKER has $5 Drinks and high noons during our first hour every night: 10-11PM Thursdays & Fridays, 9-10PM Saturdays, and 8-9PM Sundays.
Does BUNKER have a dress code?
BUNKER welcomes the attire of all gender identities and expressions. However, BUNKER is a dimly lit, underground dance club with concrete floors and steps. As a safety precaution, we strongly discourage the wearing of high heels and open-toed shoes.
Does BUNKER have a Clothes Check?
During special events and when the weather drops below 50 degrees, BUNKER has a clothes check at the rear of the venue where patrons are given a cloth laundry bag to store items. Clothes check may be purchased at the entry of the venue for a cost of $5 per bag, cash only.
Does BUNKER have a lost and found?
Yes, please provide a Detailed description (Color, Brand, size) of the lost item to contact@bunkerdc.com. If the item is found, we will respond with a time when you can retrieve it. We aim to respond to all emails within a week, but may take longer during busier weeks. All unclaimed property will be donated or discarded after 21 days. BUNKER is not responsible for items left in clothes check overnight.
What is the return policy for tickets?
ALL SALES ARE FINAL: There are no refunds, returns, or exchanges.
What if I forget to close my tab?
At the end of each night an automatic 20% gratuity will be added to any tabs left open by guests.
Does BUNKER charge tax on drinks?
Washington, D.C. has a 10% sales tax for liquor sold. This tax is applied to all checks with alcoholic beverages.
