FAQ

  • BUNKER is an inclusive and safe space for the LGBTQ+ community that welcomes everyone age 21 and over. Intolerance, harassment, or discrimination of any kind will never be allowed, by management, staff, or patrons.

  • BUNKER can host private events, or events during normal business business hours. We also have the ability to make private VIP cage reservations. Please email us at contact@bunkerdc.com with your event details so we can start planning your event!

  • BUNKER has no cover before 11PM on Friday, and 10PM on Saturday. After the first hour, there is a cash only cover that varies in price. Thursdays and Sundays have no cover, unless there’s a special event. Special events and cover prices are published on our website and social media. An ATM is available at the bottom of the entry steps. Re-entry is not permitted.

  • BUNKER offers $5 rail mixed drinks, High Noons, and domestic beers during the following times: 10PM-12AM Thursdays, 10-11PM Fridays & Saturdays, and 8-9PM Sundays.

  • BUNKER welcomes the attire of all gender identities and expressions. However, BUNKER is a dimly lit, underground dance club with concrete floors and steps. As a safety precaution, we strongly discourage the wearing of high heel shoes. Open-toed shoes are prohibited.

  • During special events and when the weather drops below 50 degrees, BUNKER has a clothes check which may be purchased for $5 per bag, cash only. We have a limited capacity clothes check so we advise arriving early to ensure you can check your items. Bags can only be checked back out once. As such, we strongly advise only one customer per bag and we are not responsible if anyone from your party with a valid clothes check ticket checks out the bag out early.

  • Yes, please provide a Detailed description (Color, Brand, size) of the lost item to contact@bunkerdc.com. If the item is found, we will respond with a time when you can retrieve it. We aim to respond to all emails within a week, but may take longer during busier weeks. All unclaimed property will be donated or discarded after 21 days. BUNKER is not responsible for items left in clothes check overnight.

  • ALL SALES ARE FINAL: There are no refunds, returns, or exchanges.

  • At the end of each night an automatic 20% gratuity will be added to any tabs left open by guests.

  • Washington, D.C. has a 10% sales tax for liquor sold. This tax is applied to all checks with alcoholic beverages.

  • If you spend $20 at the bar in one check at District Eagle on a night when there is a cover at BUNKER, ask your bartender when you close your check to receive a cover stamp. This stamp is only valid for that night's cover entry to BUNKER. $20 bar spend must all be on one check, and you must ask your bartender upon closing your check. Note: certain bigger ticket special events do not

NYC nightlife icon Mitch Ferrino makes his BUNKER debut for a night where queer beats and big city heat collide. Known for producing anthems like “Purse First” with Bob the Drag Queen and the ballroom-ready “C.L.A.T.” featuring Aja, Alexis Michelle, Peppermint, and Sasha Velour, Mitch brings his signature blend of house, pop, and drag-fueled energy straight from the Big Apple to the bunker below U Street. Expect nonstop movement, bold soundscapes, and a dance floor pulsing with attitude. Kick things off early with no cover and $6 drink specials from 10–11PM, then stay late as the energy builds and BUNKER transforms into a full-throttle NYC-style dance floor. Go-go boys will be serving all night, keeping the vibes high and the crowd hyped. This is the kind of night you brag about in group chats for weeks. Cover is $10 after 11PM. La Loca: Karol G Night returns to BUNKER for a night of bichota energy and reggaetón heat on Sunday, April 28th from 8PM to 1AM. We’re turning up the volume on Latin pop with a tribute to the one and only Karol G—so get ready to scream every lyric, from “TQG” to “PROVENZA,” under the lights of D.C.’s wildest underground dance floor. Opening the night is ALVAMP, bringing the fuego early, followed by headliner Milko, who will take us all the way Hasta Abajo with high-energy Latin beats, dembow, and the fiercest perreo anthems. Plus, don’t miss two special drag performances serving full Karol G fantasy—Indiana Bones and Danika Volkova bringing looks, attitude, and live moments that’ll have you feeling bichota AF. La Loca is BUNKER’s official Latin night, happening the final Sunday of every month—where the crowd is caliente, the rhythms are nonstop, and the vibes are always sin censura. BUNKER and District Eagle join forces for World Pride to bring you a platinum all-access VIP pass to 16 events across daytime, nighttime, and afterhours! VIP passes guarantee express entry into every event across DC’s only LGBTQ nightclub BUNKER and premier cruising Kink bar, District Eagle - including Eagle XL’s 2nd Floor Wed. June 4th - Mon. June 9th. GA Individual tickets for select events will also be made available, as well as door tickets for all events, as capacity allows. Full event schedule to be released in the coming weeks. Pass Pickup instructions will be e-mailed to all passholders in the week preceding the events.
